1. Who we are
Shift Consulting Firm Ltd ("Shift Consulting", "we", "us") is a humanitarian and development consultancy registered in Kenya. Our website is shiftconsulting.africa. For any data-related enquiries, contact us at info@shiftconsulting.africa.
2. What data we collect
We only collect personal data that you provide voluntarily through our contact form:
- Full name and organisation name
- Email address and phone number
- Organisation type, service of interest, project location, and expected timeline
- A description of your requirement
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioural analytics. We do not collect data from any other source.
3. Why we collect it
The data you submit through the enquiry form is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not use it for marketing, profiling, or any automated decision-making.
4. How we store and protect your data
Submitted enquiry data is stored on a private, self-hosted database server located within a secured infrastructure environment. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only. We do not store payment information.
Email notifications of new enquiries are delivered via Resend, a transactional email provider. Only the enquiry content (not the data itself) is transmitted to Resend for the purpose of sending the notification email.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except as described above (Resend, for email delivery). We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics platforms.
6. How long we retain your data
Enquiry records are retained for a maximum of 24 months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted. If you would like your data removed sooner, contact us at info@shiftconsulting.africa.
7. Your rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 and applicable data protection principles, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal)

8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without notice.
